Eligibility Criteria

Financial Need
Applicants must demonstrate financial hardship that makes affording necessary home renovations difficult. Proof of income required.

Primary Residence
Must be a homeowner, renter (with landlord consent), or co-op housing member.

Renovation Scope
Projects can include safety upgrades, functional improvements, preventative maintenance, energy efficiency, and aesthetic renovations.

Urgency & Impact
Priority is given to individuals facing urgent living conditions that impact safety, health, or stability, or where renovations will prevent larger future issues.

Geographic Focus
Initially serving Toronto and the GTA, with plans to expand across Canada as funding grows.

All projects require a site visit to assess eligibility, scope of work, and project feasibility. Applicants must submit supporting documents as part of the review process.
